Years
ago, Avery’s father the alpha borrowed money from a fearsome dragon. Warwick
has not forgotten and the time to pay has come. Yet the alpha of the Sunset Creek Pack has not even
acknowledged his debt. Warwick takes matters into his own hands and in the end,
he finds something worth much more than money. Will Avery be willing to come
with Warwick or will the young man fight him to the end? Can Warwick find a way to show Avery that he
has a heart buried underneath all the coldness and to give their relationship a
chance even with the circumstance that leads to it?
I was pleasantly surprised with how engrossed I became in Avery and Warwick’s adventure. Warwick is so much more than the façade that he has created to show the world and Avery is deeper and smarter than he is given credit for just because of his status in the pack. It was nice to see the two find their way. Each man discovers the true person that they are, the one that only a few special people ever see. I loved that each man was more than what was on the surface and that they each looked deeper and did not take things for granted or at face value. The attraction is there between the men right from the start and it was nice to see it grow into something stronger and deeper with the more time that the two spent together. Seeing the two men willing to take a chance made for a nice read. Right from the start I was immersed into a wondrous story with characters that are full of emotions and depth.
This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
